08/26 The first weekend after going back to my unit...

Thanks to God, the typhoon changes its move way toward Taiwan, so that I can leave unit on Saturday ( Although the vacation comes later, I still feel happy...^^ ) Recently, the weather likes a step-mother, sometimes it is in good mood, sometimes it is in bad mood. All we can do is prepare well and worship God...XD Over the past one year, when the typhoon approaches, I hope that we have a day off ( because I was a student, I don't have to prepare anything for disaster relief operation ) ,and I go back to work now. Once the typhoon approaches, I have to prepare well for disaster relief operation and I can't leave my unit even that day is a typhoon leave day...><" I believe that because of I am in different position with different thought... Whatever, the thing what I want most now is peace, safe and finish my works on schedule with safe...^^ See you next week...

Today, I have a brunch with my classmate, who will go to the logistic regular class in N.D.M.C. next week. The restaurant is located in YuanLin and the atmosphere over there is quite and peaceful. We chat a lot and I hope that he has a happy training life...

Today, I still go jogging, because this is my last time that I can go jogging at my will. Two days left, and I will hold opportunity doing exercising. " Don't gain weight again "...^^God bless me!

08/19 torrential rain...

Today, when I drive home from Nantou to Changhua, it rans cats and dogs. The worst thing is that one section of the road is covered with sands and water, what a XXXX. Because of the reason, I have to drive the alternative road going home, and I spend more than thirty minutes compared with usual road. Finally, I arrive home safety, and I hope that I won't meet the same situation again... > <"

08/18 Grandparents...

Today, my parents and I go to visit my grandparents, and it has been a long time since I visited them last time. Fortunately, they still know who I am...XD Whatever, in the following five days, it is my last time that I can go any place I want to go. I am not only learning English but also doing exercise(run run run...).

Although the food in the restaurant is almost the same compared with the other store where we went last time. I still like the banquet, because this is last time we having dinner together. What a nice dinner it is this time. Good...^^

Tim and I had a conversation last night.Our dialogues were as below.
He:What was your weight when you graduated from college?
Me:About 55 kilograms.When I met my fiance three years ago, I was about 52 kilograms.Within one year,I had gained lots of weight from 52 kilograms to 62 kilogarms.
He:What's your weight now?
Me:63 kilograms.
He:No way!It is impossible!You are 63 kilograms!
Me:Yes.
He:My wife must lie to me.She says she is 55 kilograms.If you are 63 kilograms,my wife is no way 55 kilograms.
Me:Don't you know her weight?
He:She never let me see the scale.She must lie to me...

0815 the side effect of a big meal

I can not fit in my pants today.I ate too much yesrerday.Though it is time for me to do excrise,I have to wait until tomorrow.We have another big meal tonight!!

0814 to pay a visit to ICRT

As a journalist,I am quite famaliar with broadcast studios.I had a 30-minute program every Friday for one year when I was a cadet.As a result,I was uninterested in today's schedual to make a commercial  on our own.However it was quite interesting to see the anchormen and anchorwomen in person.In short,though I was exhausted,I had a good time.

0813 taking a physical test

I went to infantry school to take a physical test this afternoon.Before the test I went to a temple to ask for the Gods' help to let me pass it.When the test time came,the weather was moderate which was extreme suitable for jogging.As a result,I passed the exam with a quite good score.It only took me 16'31" to finish 3 kilimeters.It is my best record I ever have.Today is a memorable day for me!

08/13 The final week in D.L.I.

Wow!...this week is the final stage in E.A.C. I can't believe that time goes so fast. I believe that over the past one year, it is the happiest moment to me in my military life until now. I won't forget it... Thank you E.A.C. ...^^

08/12 U.S. dream team...

Although the U.S. gets the golden medal in basketball event, I still believe that Spanish has the opportunity to win the golden medal in the future... Spanish basketball team shows the good attitude to us " Never give up " They fight until the last minute...^^

08/11 Saturday night...

Although it rains cats and dogs, I still finish my sixth marathon. The feeling of my clothe is damped with rain and sweat is quite good to me...XD Good job...^^

The fifth: keep renovating and learning

  U.S. prestigious general Patton said, “During military period, one has to keep learning and researching. It is a period of self control and keeping renovating.” One has to renovate, pursue a better life and keep pace with the world to develop a sound ability of conducing missions and broaden horizons. Only those who have the ability of creating can develop a brand new state.

  We have to take ancestors’ forwarding thoughts, the courage of reforming, and the resolve to be perseverant as our doctrines. To implement them in our professional area, introduce new notions and methods, keep renovating, from good to great, and increase efficiency and quality of works to boost military to step into a better state.   

  Each one of you is the leading elite in military. Hope every one of you have the conception of forward notions, observe the change of environment and have the courage to face difficulties which are resulted from the change of environment. Keep learning and adjust yourself moderately. Try your best to help the improvement of military.

0811 A hard-to-forget experience in NDLI

I have a wonderful year in NDLI. Compared with the life of combat unit, the life in language center is incredible cozy. All that one has to do is study, study, and study. Without doubt, the year in NDLI is my happiest time in my 10-year military period. I not only do my best to learn English, but also keep away from those tedious jobs. To put it another way, this is a care-free year.

As life in NDLI is gorgeous, I have a hard-to-forget experience. It happened at the beginning of the training. Though knowing the wireless network was forbidden on the military campus, I still obeyed an instructor’s order to apply for one and used it. I was in charge of illegal wireless network before I came to NDLI. As a matter of fact, I was upset while applying for the illegal device, which violated my moral of being a security officer. After enjoying the convenience which wireless network brought to me, I no longer felt guilty. As it would have it, while using the illegal device to look up for vocabulary at classroom, I was caught violating regulations by an information officer. As a result, I got administrative punishment and spent lots of time writing quite a few reports.

 Though it is an unpleasant experience, it does not have any effect on my eagerness of learning English. With the English improvement I get in NDLI, I also learn a lesson from this event─ never do illegal things which may cause trouble. In conclusion, though it is an unsavory experience, it is also a priceless lesson. 

08/10 Final weekend in Taipei...

This weekend is my last time staying in Taipei, and  I will join my sixth marathon since I came here one year ago in Taipei. I hope that I can break my personal marathon record. Hey guys!... enjoy the happy time in Taipei...^^

0810 My opinion about Korean drama

Recently I spend lots of time watching Korean dramas.Compare Korean dramas with Taiwanese dramas,I get three conclusions.
First of all, Korean dramas focus on actors' acting,while Taiwanese dramas emphasis on actors' good-looking appearances,which is not a guaranty of good performance.In Taiwan,as long as actors are good-looking or famous,even with poor acting,the drama can be a blockbuster.
Secondly, compared with Taiwanese actors,though Korean dramas actors are all quite tall,they are not handsome enough,which lead to my deep disappointmant. I can not even tell who are the main actors by watching the first episode.
Last but not least,Korean dramas are played by all the same people which may lead to my confusion.For example,actor A plays an role of an empiror in one drama,while he plays a role of a mean official in another drama which have the same time and plots.
In my opinion,actors and directors for Taiwanese dramas have to work harder in order to prevail those for Korean dramas.

08/09 Swimming in the gym...

This afternoon, my classmates pull me to go swimming with them. This is my first swimming in the campus since I came here one year ago. Before, I always go jogging, and this time I try different choose. Although the water lane is only fifty meters, I feel very tired compared with jogging...XD However, I feel very well, and I will go there again next week....^^ To exercise different part of my body, and enhance my cardiovascular system...

0809 Pros and Cons of Globalization

  Globalization leads most of the countries to a more convenient and advanced state without doubt. In the past, it was impossible to sell your products globally. What’s more, it took a long time to spread a new product or a new notion to foreign countries. Due to globalization, the situation, however, has changed. Globalization has changed the world to a new stage, in which countries interdepend on each other no matter in good or bad aspects. For example, if a conflict spreads out in other countries, it might affect you in some aspects, such as economy or diplomacy. To put it another way, because of globalization, a country can no longer conduct independently. As a result, we title the phenomenon as “global village.”   

  Though globalization brings many benefits, such as flourishing economy, experiencing different cultures, and enjoying advanced technology, it also has many serious side-effects. First of all, globalization leads to the existence of international criminal organizations. Criminals broaden their border to other countries to perpetrate bigger and transnational crimes. Even worse, it is much more difficult for policemen to catch all the perpetrators.

Secondly, globalization makes the rich countries richer and the poor countries poorer. Not all the countries can get benefits. Rich countries exploit poor countries in many ways, such as using their workers to do tough jobs in poor conditions with little salary, buying their product in quite low price, or taking valuable resource away. Poor countries can get nothing from globalization, which may trigger hatred and conflicts.

 Last but not least, countries’ own cultures may fade away because of globalization. People get information from foreign countries easily and learn lots of foreign cultures, which may lead to the situation that fewer and fewer people pay attention to their own cultures.   

  Globalization is like a sword with two-side blades. It brings pros and cons. Now that no one can avoid the tread of it, we should focus on how to deal with all the cons it lead.

0808 After retirement

My fiance and I discussed about retirement yesterday.A colonel ,who we both know,sells herbal tea near barracks after his retirement.After opening the store,he went back to barracks to ask his juniors to buy his products.
The store is located on the road which my fiance passes by everyday.There are many times my fiance wants to buy a cup of herbal tea,but he hesitates.He says that it will be embarrassing to go into the store.What's more,he does not know how to call the retired colonel.Colonel or boss?Whenever my fiance passes by the store,he sees the colonel preparing products or cleaning the environment,which is quite strange to my fiance.He cannot figure out why a colonel is willing to do this kind of chores.What's more,the colonal condescends to ask his juniors to buy his products,which is also quite unusual in military.To retire at the rank of colonel,he can get more than 90,000 dollars as pension per month.Without working,he can still lead to a decent life.
In my opinion,he does not need the money.All that he wants is to find something interesting to do.I,however,will not sell herbal tea after my retirement.It is tiring and boring...

At the beginning of the diary policy, there are at least eight guys typing diary...So good!...^^ We can share with each other about daily life in D.L.I. or our mood and even trivial stuffs in life. However, there are less and less guys doing the interesting things. I have a question, where are they?(Melo, Mavis, Adam, Edmund, Bruce, Sunny, and Joyce...disappear...XD) Until now, only Ann, and me. However,Amos is a part-time guy...

0807 The dialogues between my fiance and I

Recently I watch lots of Korean dramas.All the main actors are wise and romantic,which trigers my old sweet memory of falling in love with my fiance.Our relationship,however,is not as sweet as it was three years ago.Now he pays all his attention to invest real estate,while I focus on writing.Norther do we do something romantic or touching to each other.Let alone speak honeyed words.My fiance called me yesterday.I told him we should leave no stone unturned to build a new sweet relationship.He said that to speak sweet words and do something romantic is superficial.Our dialogues were as below.
He:Those who do that kind of stupid things are superficial.They do not want to do it,and neither are they willing to do it.They are pretending.Women who like that kind of things are also superficial.
Me:Well,I am a superficial woman without doubt and I like honeyed words!You know it!
He:Ok,I can pretend.It is not difficult to pretend being romantic.All I have to do is to speak nonsense and do useless things.
Me:Then just pretend!I like it!
He:Ok!
Me:What's more,the main actor have lots of sex with his lover.You should do it also.
He:No,I cannot.It is exhausting.I will not do it!
Me:Isn't it a easy job for you before getting married?What's more,you love it!
He:Well,if I can have sex with girls except you,I am fond of it.If you are the one I have to have sex with,I cannot do it!Give me a break!

0806 interesting Korean drama

Recently I spend lots of time watching a series of Korean drama which is called"The queen's man.{仁顯王后的男人}"The main actor was an official in ancient Korean three hundred years ago.His main duty is to protect the queen.Much to his disappointment,all his family mambers,including his wife and an unborn child, are killed because of political persercution.One of his slaver goes to a temple to ask for an amulet to protect him from being harmed.Once an assassinator is almost killing him.At the same time,he shows up in modern Korean and meets the main actress,who is a famous actress plays the rule of the queen who the main actor protects in ancient time.
The man finds he can go and come back by using the amulet.So he takes good advantage of it.He not only changes the history,but also falls in love with the actress.He,however,is not allowed to change history.Lots of disastrous things happen to him.What's worse,his feud sets traps to put him in trouble.As it would have it,his amulet is destroyed by bad hooligans at the same time.Without it,he cannot meet his lover anymore.A year passes,under great depression he is going to commit suicide.He sees the gift which is given by the girl.He cannot stop but missing her.Then he shows up in front of her and never leaves her.What a happy ending it is.

08/06 Final term exams are coming...

This week is our final term exam week, and it also means that we will graduate from D.L.I. sooner or later. So sad!...><"... Two week later, I can't meet my dear classmates any more...I must cry to death...XD Good bye! My dear classmates, and I love all of you...(Every time, when I don't know what I can write, I will write something which is very touching...^^" )

08/05 A car accident on the highway...

Tonight, when I drive my car on the highway coming back Taipei, there is a VW Golf with red wheels and low chassic attracting me (it looks great, and I like it...^^ ) However, its speed is quite fast and always drive in and out (it is very dangerous and I hope that he will be in the car accident at the moment...= =" ) About five minutes later, cars on the high way all slow down and there is a car accident happening ahead of me. Wow, unbelievable!..., the VW Golf involves in the car accident...XD I am shocked that my curse is carried out...XD From the accident, we can learn a lesson, If you want to go home early, you have to drive slowly, or you will go home late...

He says no matter how delicious milkfish taste,rearers need government's support.Food for milkfish is quite expensive,while economy is staggering.What's more,fishermen's union pulls useless policy.The flood destroys his fish farms.Every where swim his milkfish with their mouths open,which look like asking him to give up.He says he can hear what the fish say so does he can see the milkfish showing up in his dream.
His name is repeatly reported at that night's News channel.No one knows where his corpse is.How ironic the scenery shows in the News channel that someone is catching fish on the street.His son,who works in a big city,is drunk quarrling with others while policemen inform him this piece of bad news.His son says that milkfish have no bones.Others say his son is inebriated.His son insists on his statement because milkfish is his name.

08/04 Olympic basketball games...

Tonight, I watch two basketball games, one is U.S. vs Lithuania, and the other one is Russia vs Spanish. The two basketball games are fabulous, and the two games show seesaw battles...I like it...^^ One side shows that he is the dominator in Europe, and the other show that he is the dominator in America. The is the war between  Europe and America, and they all show skills in basketball...Amazing! Because of the games, I have a wonderful night on Saturday... ^^

0804 A song -part 1

I find a touching song which is sung by a blind singer.The song is called "Father's milkfish."

In a winter came a cold front.At that night,he woke up at midnight suddenly.After putting on clothes,he went to the shore to take a look at his fish farms.
He says that without the taste of duct,his milkfish taste delicious.Though they are worth lots of money,whenever comes the inclement weather,without rearer's taking good care of them,they may all die at once,which would lead to the rear's blue New year.
He complains that his son,who just discharged from military early this month,watches TV for all night.He asks his son to go with him.His son rejects because he does not like industrious works.
His son says that no metter how delicious his milkfish taste,people always complain that there too many bones.He should go to city to earn money when he is still young.By staying in a country like this he cannot make a fortune.As a result,no matter what parents say,he makes up his mind to leave the contry to the city. His goal is to make a fortune,not to pick up fishbones.As long as he can earn lots of money,his father's milkfish is nothing but a joke.
There comes a typhone,which lead to a flood.At that afternoon,he sighs deeply.Not caring others' deterrence of his going out,he rides a bicycle to his fish farms.He says that he raises milkfich with love.What's more,the milkfish are worth lots of money.The inclement weather,however, leads to a great lose of milkfish.
 He compalins that in order to take good care of milkfish,he has ousted his son.He goes to fish farms alone.The scenery of catastrophe in front of him already means nothing.

0803 an interesting report

An African-German was crying on the street a few days ago.A policeman asked him what had happened.He told the policeman that there was a woman,who wanted to have one-night stand with him,restrained him from leaving.At first,he was so happy that he can have sex with the woman.After having sex,she asked him to do it again and again.What's more,the 47-year-old woman did not allow him to leave.They had sex for three days without stop and the 31-year-old man cannot stand it anymore.At last,he escaped when the woman was taking a rest.He,however,cannot run far away.He was too exhausted to walk.
According to the policeman,the alleged woman,who illegally restrained the man from leaving,had a malady of being addicted to having sex.Though  she had gone to see a doctor,her disease was not cured thoroughly.
They got acquainted with each other on a bus.They both agreed to have one-night stand.The man was very happey about it.Much to his disappointment,he was almost dying by having incessant sex for three days.
According to further investigation,policemen found that the woman had one-night stand with another man at a night club early last month.Nor was the man allowed to leave.At last,the man escaped by climbing the balcony out.
In my opinion,these guys may never think that this kind of thing would happen to them.To have sex with a woman for free sounds quite good.If they cannot satisfy the woman,they would become a worldwide jest. In short,they should look before they leap.

0802 My mother unit's new regulations

My boss called me yesterday to ask me when I would go back to report.I told him I would not go back until next September because I did not want to see him.He laughed loudly and said "OK."At that time,I was so happy that instead of being a guy,I was a girl.So he would not be mad at my words.

My mother unit has new regulations.The commander,a lieutenant general,inspects environment every week.To put it another way,every staff,even a colonel,has to sweep floors and clean windows everyday.What's more,The commander does uniform inspections every Friday morning.If you take Friday off,you have to go back to be checked on Saturday or Sunday.You have no choice but to obey because the commander will give you a call personally and he stays in barracks to wait for you.

He said that "no one is supposed to go home everyday and staffs are no exception.Staffs should stay at offices and sleep on desks."

Much to my disappointment,no one can use cell phone duing working hours.Even it is about your work,you have to use the phone in the office.If your family members have something emergency to call you,you can not answer the phone.You have to give them your office number beforehand,and then ask themto call that number.If you are caught using cellulare phone in office,you have to accept administrative punishment.

I cannot figure out what the hell he is thinking about.All his family members live in America so he stays in barracks everyday.Instead of taking care of his family members,he devotes all his strength and energy to Navy.Even worse,his creed is working hard,working hard ,and working hard.

In short,he is a nerd.I hate him and neither do I want to go back!     

08/02 A call from my mother unit...

Yesterday, at five thirty in the afternoon, I got a call from my junior, and

he:  " The commander of battalion asks when will you come back to first infantry battalion? "
me: " what's the matter? I will graduate from D.L.I. on August seventeenth and I have five days
       leaves.
he:  " The commander of battalion wants to make sure whether you will come back to first infantry
       battalion or not and he wants you to take over recruits personnel affair.
me: " How do I know? "

After the moment, I asked him anything about how about the unit now and other stuffs...
sigh, I don't know what I can say, and in my opinion, they just want to make use of me...Whatever, at the end of next year, I plan to join the regular class test. Whether they care me or not, I will do anything as schedule. I hope that I will be in F.H.K. campus again next year... God bless me and everything will be fine...

08/01 No class tomorrow...

As I predict, there is no class tomorrow...So sad!...This time, I do really want to have classes tomorrow...XD Why? To improve my knowledge about military affair...XD Whatever, now that I can't change it, just enjoy it...Ha!Ha!Ha!...^^

0801 Writing practice

In some countries,teenagers have jobs while they are still students.Do you think this is a good idea?Support your opinion be useing specific reasons and details.

In Taiwan,many students have part-time jobs.They work to earn money to pay their tuition and daily expense.I approve this idea.First of all,it is a good chance for students to learn life experience.With the experience of working,students have to learn how to get alone with different types of people as well as how to negotiate with others.What's more,they have to arrange their time effetively in order to get things done in time.
Secondly,students can learn how to spend money wisely.With the improvement of life standard,many families lead a weathy life.As a result, children do not know the importance of saving money and lead a profligate life.If students have the experience of working,they can know earning money is not easy.Sometimes what you pay does not equal to what you gain.
Last but not least,students can learn the importance of being responsible for what they do.While working,students have to accomplish all that they are asked to.If they fail,they have to smell the coffee and solve the problems themselves.To put it another way,they have to learn how to take responsibility and being independent.
In short,though working while they are still students is not a easy thing,students can learn lots of things which text books do not mention at all.
