I went to infantry school to take a physical test this afternoon.Before the test I went to a temple to ask for the Gods' help to let me pass it.When the test time came,the weather was moderate which was extreme suitable for jogging.As a result,I passed the exam with a quite good score.It only took me 16'31" to finish 3 kilimeters.It is my best record I ever have.Today is a memorable day for me!

0811 A hard-to-forget experience in NDLI

I have a wonderful year in NDLI. Compared with the life of combat unit, the life in language center is incredible cozy. All that one has to do is study, study, and study. Without doubt, the year in NDLI is my happiest time in my 10-year military period. I not only do my best to learn English, but also keep away from those tedious jobs. To put it another way, this is a care-free year.

As life in NDLI is gorgeous, I have a hard-to-forget experience. It happened at the beginning of the training. Though knowing the wireless network was forbidden on the military campus, I still obeyed an instructor’s order to apply for one and used it. I was in charge of illegal wireless network before I came to NDLI. As a matter of fact, I was upset while applying for the illegal device, which violated my moral of being a security officer. After enjoying the convenience which wireless network brought to me, I no longer felt guilty. As it would have it, while using the illegal device to look up for vocabulary at classroom, I was caught violating regulations by an information officer. As a result, I got administrative punishment and spent lots of time writing quite a few reports.

 Though it is an unpleasant experience, it does not have any effect on my eagerness of learning English. With the English improvement I get in NDLI, I also learn a lesson from this event─ never do illegal things which may cause trouble. In conclusion, though it is an unsavory experience, it is also a priceless lesson. 

0810 My opinion about Korean drama

Recently I spend lots of time watching Korean dramas.Compare Korean dramas with Taiwanese dramas,I get three conclusions.
First of all, Korean dramas focus on actors' acting,while Taiwanese dramas emphasis on actors' good-looking appearances,which is not a guaranty of good performance.In Taiwan,as long as actors are good-looking or famous,even with poor acting,the drama can be a blockbuster.
Secondly, compared with Taiwanese actors,though Korean dramas actors are all quite tall,they are not handsome enough,which lead to my deep disappointmant. I can not even tell who are the main actors by watching the first episode.
Last but not least,Korean dramas are played by all the same people which may lead to my confusion.For example,actor A plays an role of an empiror in one drama,while he plays a role of a mean official in another drama which have the same time and plots.
In my opinion,actors and directors for Taiwanese dramas have to work harder in order to prevail those for Korean dramas.

0809 Pros and Cons of Globalization

  Globalization leads most of the countries to a more convenient and advanced state without doubt. In the past, it was impossible to sell your products globally. What’s more, it took a long time to spread a new product or a new notion to foreign countries. Due to globalization, the situation, however, has changed. Globalization has changed the world to a new stage, in which countries interdepend on each other no matter in good or bad aspects. For example, if a conflict spreads out in other countries, it might affect you in some aspects, such as economy or diplomacy. To put it another way, because of globalization, a country can no longer conduct independently. As a result, we title the phenomenon as “global village.”   

  Though globalization brings many benefits, such as flourishing economy, experiencing different cultures, and enjoying advanced technology, it also has many serious side-effects. First of all, globalization leads to the existence of international criminal organizations. Criminals broaden their border to other countries to perpetrate bigger and transnational crimes. Even worse, it is much more difficult for policemen to catch all the perpetrators.

Secondly, globalization makes the rich countries richer and the poor countries poorer. Not all the countries can get benefits. Rich countries exploit poor countries in many ways, such as using their workers to do tough jobs in poor conditions with little salary, buying their product in quite low price, or taking valuable resource away. Poor countries can get nothing from globalization, which may trigger hatred and conflicts.

 Last but not least, countries’ own cultures may fade away because of globalization. People get information from foreign countries easily and learn lots of foreign cultures, which may lead to the situation that fewer and fewer people pay attention to their own cultures.   

  Globalization is like a sword with two-side blades. It brings pros and cons. Now that no one can avoid the tread of it, we should focus on how to deal with all the cons it lead.

0808 After retirement

My fiance and I discussed about retirement yesterday.A colonel ,who we both know,sells herbal tea near barracks after his retirement.After opening the store,he went back to barracks to ask his juniors to buy his products.
The store is located on the road which my fiance passes by everyday.There are many times my fiance wants to buy a cup of herbal tea,but he hesitates.He says that it will be embarrassing to go into the store.What's more,he does not know how to call the retired colonel.Colonel or boss?Whenever my fiance passes by the store,he sees the colonel preparing products or cleaning the environment,which is quite strange to my fiance.He cannot figure out why a colonel is willing to do this kind of chores.What's more,the colonal condescends to ask his juniors to buy his products,which is also quite unusual in military.To retire at the rank of colonel,he can get more than 90,000 dollars as pension per month.Without working,he can still lead to a decent life.
In my opinion,he does not need the money.All that he wants is to find something interesting to do.I,however,will not sell herbal tea after my retirement.It is tiring and boring...

Recently I watch lots of Korean dramas.All the main actors are wise and romantic,which trigers my old sweet memory of falling in love with my fiance.Our relationship,however,is not as sweet as it was three years ago.Now he pays all his attention to invest real estate,while I focus on writing.Norther do we do something romantic or touching to each other.Let alone speak honeyed words.My fiance called me yesterday.I told him we should leave no stone unturned to build a new sweet relationship.He said that to speak sweet words and do something romantic is superficial.Our dialogues were as below.
He:Those who do that kind of stupid things are superficial.They do not want to do it,and neither are they willing to do it.They are pretending.Women who like that kind of things are also superficial.
Me:Well,I am a superficial woman without doubt and I like honeyed words!You know it!
He:Ok,I can pretend.It is not difficult to pretend being romantic.All I have to do is to speak nonsense and do useless things.
Me:Then just pretend!I like it!
He:Ok!
Me:What's more,the main actor have lots of sex with his lover.You should do it also.
He:No,I cannot.It is exhausting.I will not do it!
Me:Isn't it a easy job for you before getting married?What's more,you love it!

Recently I spend lots of time watching a series of Korean drama which is called"The queen's man.{仁顯王后的男人}"The main actor was an official in ancient Korean three hundred years ago.His main duty is to protect the queen.Much to his disappointment,all his family mambers,including his wife and an unborn child, are killed because of political persercution.One of his slaver goes to a temple to ask for an amulet to protect him from being harmed.Once an assassinator is almost killing him.At the same time,he shows up in modern Korean and meets the main actress,who is a famous actress plays the rule of the queen who the main actor protects in ancient time.
The man finds he can go and come back by using the amulet.So he takes good advantage of it.He not only changes the history,but also falls in love with the actress.He,however,is not allowed to change history.Lots of disastrous things happen to him.What's worse,his feud sets traps to put him in trouble.As it would have it,his amulet is destroyed by bad hooligans at the same time.Without it,he cannot meet his lover anymore.A year passes,under great depression he is going to commit suicide.He sees the gift which is given by the girl.He cannot stop but missing her.Then he shows up in front of her and never leaves her.What a happy ending it is.

I find a touching song which is sung by a blind singer.The song is called "Father's milkfish."

In a winter came a cold front.At that night,he woke up at midnight suddenly.After putting on clothes,he went to the shore to take a look at his fish farms.
He says that without the taste of duct,his milkfish taste delicious.Though they are worth lots of money,whenever comes the inclement weather,without rearer's taking good care of them,they may all die at once,which would lead to the rear's blue New year.
He complains that his son,who just discharged from military early this month,watches TV for all night.He asks his son to go with him.His son rejects because he does not like industrious works.
His son says that no metter how delicious his milkfish taste,people always complain that there too many bones.He should go to city to earn money when he is still young.By staying in a country like this he cannot make a fortune.As a result,no matter what parents say,he makes up his mind to leave the contry to the city. His goal is to make a fortune,not to pick up fishbones.As long as he can earn lots of money,his father's milkfish is nothing but a joke.
There comes a typhone,which lead to a flood.At that afternoon,he sighs deeply.Not caring others' deterrence of his going out,he rides a bicycle to his fish farms.He says that he raises milkfich with love.What's more,the milkfish are worth lots of money.The inclement weather,however, leads to a great lose of milkfish.
 He compalins that in order to take good care of milkfish,he has ousted his son.He goes to fish farms alone.The scenery of catastrophe in front of him already means nothing.

An African-German was crying on the street a few days ago.A policeman asked him what had happened.He told the policeman that there was a woman,who wanted to have one-night stand with him,restrained him from leaving.At first,he was so happy that he can have sex with the woman.After having sex,she asked him to do it again and again.What's more,the 47-year-old woman did not allow him to leave.They had sex for three days without stop and the 31-year-old man cannot stand it anymore.At last,he escaped when the woman was taking a rest.He,however,cannot run far away.He was too exhausted to walk.

In my opinion,these guys may never think that this kind of thing would happen to them.To have sex with a woman for free sounds quite good.If they cannot satisfy the woman,they would become a worldwide jest. In short,they should look before they leap.

0802 My mother unit's new regulations

My boss called me yesterday to ask me when I would go back to report.I told him I would not go back until next September because I did not want to see him.He laughed loudly and said "OK."At that time,I was so happy that instead of being a guy,I was a girl.So he would not be mad at my words.

My mother unit has new regulations.The commander,a lieutenant general,inspects environment every week.To put it another way,every staff,even a colonel,has to sweep floors and clean windows everyday.What's more,The commander does uniform inspections every Friday morning.If you take Friday off,you have to go back to be checked on Saturday or Sunday.You have no choice but to obey because the commander will give you a call personally and he stays in barracks to wait for you.

He said that "no one is supposed to go home everyday and staffs are no exception.Staffs should stay at offices and sleep on desks."

Much to my disappointment,no one can use cell phone duing working hours.Even it is about your work,you have to use the phone in the office.If your family members have something emergency to call you,you can not answer the phone.You have to give them your office number beforehand,and then ask themto call that number.If you are caught using cellulare phone in office,you have to accept administrative punishment.

I cannot figure out what the hell he is thinking about.All his family members live in America so he stays in barracks everyday.Instead of taking care of his family members,he devotes all his strength and energy to Navy.Even worse,his creed is working hard,working hard ,and working hard.

In short,he is a nerd.I hate him and neither do I want to go back!

I do agree that media have paid too much attention to public figures.There are several demerits result from the phenomenon.
First of all,the rights of private are offended.The way they use in order to get the exclusive news is much too over,which offense public figures' private. Though paparazzi reveal many scandals or crimes by keeping an eye on public figures,they may offense the law which protect people's private rights. All men are equal and so do these public figures.No one can offend their private. Secondly,reporting too many this kind of news may divert public's focus from those which public should pay attention to.No one cares about the war happens in the world.Ironically many people pay attention to how many mistresses a celebrity has.Last but not least,children are exposed to unhealthy atmosphere which is filled with love affair,bribery,and sex.Growing up in the condition is not good for children's mind development.
